This is the blog for our short trip up to Swedish Lapland to see if we can see the Northern Lights.
We very briefly saw them in 2015 in Norway, but it was not enough! Back then we had a snowy ten days, even getting completely snowed-in at one point in Kiruna. However, lots of snow means lots of clouds, which, of course, stopped us seeing the Northern Lights, except on one brief occasion.
This time we feel that the places we are going to in Swedish Lapland are going to give us a better chance of seeing the lights. Wish us luck!
As I am filling this in as I go along, the progress will depend upon whether I have the time to write, and the WiFi to post!
